A Presence Defined Through Absence
BLEND ARTは、錯視とポスターアートを軸に、デジタルとアナログ、作り手と受け手といった異なる要素を掛け合わせることで生まれる表現です。
主観的輪郭の錯視を用いることで、存在していないはずの形や境界を視覚的に成立させ、見る人の認識にズレを生み出します。そのズレによって生まれる“余白”が、見る側の想像力によって補完されることで、作品は完成します。
完成されたイメージを一方的に提示するのではなく、見る人の認識や解釈が関わることで成立する構造そのものを、BLEND ARTと呼んでいます。
BLEND ART is an approach that combines optical illusion and poster art, bringing together different elements such as digital and analog, and creator and viewer.
By using subjective contours, it creates shapes and boundaries that do not physically exist, introducing subtle shifts in perception. The “negative space” that emerges from these shifts is completed by the viewer’s imagination.
Rather than presenting a fully defined image, BLEND ART is based on a structure in which the work is completed through the viewer’s perception and interpretation.
